31. REDISCOVERIES

That
which discovered long ago
smells good, again and again
That which rediscovered
after once found
long ago and with
ooh and aahh
never loses
its power to surprise
again and again
What was once given
is given again
and again,
coming in disguises
or at a different hour,
on a different train maybe,
but this fresh
ever market
again and again,
Morning,
or Spring sunshine
or a new Love,
it feels so good again,
and never lose the
pebble to enchant!

Amazon e-book page Thank you for reading. If you love it, tell your friends. Please post a favorable review at Amazon, Good Reads, and other online resources. If you want to thank the author, you may also buy a copy for the low price of a cup of coffee. It's called Read-a-Latte: similar (or lower) price as a latte at your favorite coffeeshop, but the book lasts forever while the beverage is quickly gone. Thank you (JTC). PS: I wrote most of these poems (except the title poem, October Leaf) as a teenager, so I published them under the pseudonym A. T. Nager.
