69. BEACH/FOREVER

It has always bothered me
       vaguely
that in this sea of dreams
my dreamship should
choose to run aground
       softly
on the open armed trees…
darkness dancing with light;
bowers of spring blossoms…
blends of grassy green and blue sky…
bosom of turned black earth puddings…
       and
HOUSE cornering on life and death.
(maybe I should run;
for my small FOREVER.)

Amazon e-book page Thank you for reading. If you love it, tell your friends. Please post a favorable review at Amazon, Good Reads, and other online resources. If you want to thank the author, you may also buy a copy for the low price of a cup of coffee. It's called Read-a-Latte: similar (or lower) price as a latte at your favorite coffeeshop, but the book lasts forever while the beverage is quickly gone. Thank you (JTC). PS: I wrote most of these poems (except the title poem, October Leaf) as a teenager, so I published them under the pseudonym A. T. Nager.
