A few weeks later, they had quarreled and kissed and made up, as lovers will. They had proven they could be tempestuous together, and get over it as quickly as the passing of a summer rain squall. Outside the bubble of their happiness and isolation, certain realities pressed home.
The two lovers continued their daily job routines, fitting passion and companionship around those distracted and impatient hours. Marc had been out of touch with his friend Jack, and Jacks’s sister Danielle, not to mention both their families and other friends.
One day, they planned a trip to the park.
